LCMS Services

[Faith]

For those who are LCMS or have visited one recently, what are your services like? I’m curious to know if any are at all like mine. Our worship services are similar to ND services. Praise band with contemporary Christian music, or hymns done in a rock/pop sound. Screens with the prayers and song lyrics. The pastors don’t wear collars or vestments but instead wear nice pants or sometimes nice jeans and a nice shirt.
On Christmas and Easter, there are more theatrics on the platform (stage?)
it’s nothing like a Catholic Mass, and I love it!

The services at my church are traditional and there is no contemporary music or big screen. The pastor wears his traditional garb because he stands in the stead of Christ when giving the absolution and presenting us with Holy Communion.
