Lasting Damage of Biden's Remark

But despite Trump’s hypocrisy and the media distortions of Biden’s remark, this could do lasting damage to the Democratic brand, further alienating working people who already see Democrats as elitists who look down on them.

I think all politicians are opportunists, and Trump's team was swift to act and it worked to their benefit. People feel Trump is more down to earth with these little antics of going to McDonald's or jumping into a garbage truck and driving a mile.

The thing is that politicians really need to realize that calling the other side any name is going to affect the entire voting base of that side. Maybe they should just stop with the rhetoric all together, you know, like Biden called for after Trump's first assassination attempt, but that didn't last long from Biden.

From what I have heard Biden has a history of saying stupid things. I can remember one other time when he told a voter that he was "pretty sure I'm smarter than you."

I remember his line, that was something like "if you have to decide who to vote for, you ain't black".

Because, you know, all black people are a uniform mass and they are apparently incapable of individual thought. When Democrat candidates take black votes for granted to this kind of level it's hardly surprising that black voters start to consider what the two parties might actually do for them.

It will be interesting in 2 years to see if the Democrats recover from some of their losses due to their policies, their rhetoric, their cockiness and that they're simply out of touch.

I think Biden is a down-to-Earth-guy, but he's a puppet of female supremacy, which is the driving force of America now.

I don't think Biden meant what he said. He's probably really referring to extremist followers of Trump, not regular working people, but of course, it's easy to misunderstand this.

Biden just says what he's told to say...until he goes off script and then things go bad.
