What happened the last time you got sick?

I'm trying to determine if what I have is just my allergies, or if I'm actually sick. It's been so long since I got sick!

For me the last time was when my digestive system decided to violently purge itself. That's probably all the detail you need. I have no idea what caused it, other than possibly some kind of bug going around.

Sicknesses that look like they might be allergies are trickier. It's probably been two years since I had one of those. For me they are easy to tell apart because something allergy related usually gives me blocked sinuses and maybe some sneezing and a sore throat, and antihistamines typically help very quickly (I very seldom have problems with pollens, for me it's usually related to doing dusty work too late into the evening). If the sore throat persists overnight and into the next day the chances are it's not allergies. If you have severe allergies this might not help you much.

It was probably the last time I had COVID which included fatigue and coughing. I don't think I had a fever the second time I had it.

The last time I got sick was around October- November last year. It was a very crazy illness that lasted nearly 3 months and it wasn't COVID. It was around January 2024 I recovered 100%.
