Hello everyone!

I'm Jazzy and by day, I'm a forum Administrator on a General Discussion board. At night, I work as a Paramedic at a Trauma Center.

I have 6 rescue babies that I refer to as my "zoo crew". They consist of (1) Horse (1) Pot Belly Pig (1 Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot (2) Miniature Pinschers (one male and one female) and (1) Maine Coon Cat

That's a curious collection of animals. A friend of mine had a pot bellied pig years ago but ended up having to sell his house and significantly downsizing. He couldn't take the pig with him, but the people who bought his old house agreed to continue to look after it.

I'm very excited to be here! Miss Piggy (I know not very original but that's the name she came with) is 25" high and currently weighs 125 lbs.

Thank you for the welcome. Will try to find some photos that I can perhaps scan and upload them that way. I had all my pictures stored with Photobucket and we all know what happened to them. Let me see what I can do!

For Photobucket you have to pay to have an account now and can't use it for free photo storage anymore.

Jazzy, my husband's cousin takes her pot belly pig around to nursing homes as a comfort pig!

My friends I mentioned wouldn't have been able to do that, the thing was so big you'd need a box truck to transport it.

That doesn't sound like a true potbelly pig then. By definition the most they get is 200 pounds. I think they got scammed and were sold a regular farm pig. Farm pigs are 300-700 pounds.
