In Remembrance

Good evening all,

In remembrance of all the events that happened on November 13, 2015, with unfortunately most notably the terrorist attacks in Paris, we ask that that all members of CH lift up Paris/France, Baghdad, Lebanon, Japan, and Mexico for all the tragic events. In remembrance of the terrorist attacks, CH's logo now bears three candles in remembrance.

Again, let us pray for comfort and healing during these events,and that ultimately that Christ will shine through and be glorified.

Against terrorists with automatic weapons, probably not a whole lot, but maybe they could have ended it sooner. Maybe they'd just have ended up providing more ammo for the terrorists.

Either way it's a tragic waste of life and it will take a while for Paris to feel safe again. I remember being in London on the 7 July 2005 when the Tube was bombed, and for some time afterwards people were going through the motions of pointing out how they "weren't afraid" when it was clear that actually they were.

Sadly the price of living in an open and free society is that some abuse that freedom. The only way to stop it is to impose some form of martial law and even then there's no guarantee.

Really? In that case Jesus must have missed the point somewhere along the line. I wonder why he said things like these...

Mat 8:20 And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."

Mat 24:9 "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.

That's terrible what happened in Paris. I didn't know all of those other cities were attacked, too, it wasn't on the news. Praying for everyone.ray:

Unfortunately more issues have unraveled in Paris today with the police raids that ended with a suicide bomber and gunfire. Continued prayer for those in Paris.
