What's the difference between imagination & delusions?

I think imaginations are mainly evil and Paul tells us to cast them down and replace them with good thoughts 2 Corinthians 10:5. Whereas delusions are "A belief or altered reality that is persistently held despite evidence or agreement to the contrary, generally in reference to a mental disorder." I can imagine dragons and unicorns without believing they are real.
