People today say things like "It works doesn't it?" meaning that because it works it must be true in some degree and whatever degree of truth is in it is sufficient for us. They also say "if it works don't fix it" meaning that it is best to leave something that works as it is because fixing might break it. Humanity in the west has come to rely on technology for its notions about truth. Is that a Christian perspective and if it is not then why do you hold to it?

You ask if that's a Christian perspective. In what regards? Doctrine? Worship service?

Easy enough. Look to Jesus. If your doctrine doesn't point to Jesus as Savior, it needs fixing. If your worship service is only for emotions then it needs to be fixed since feelings don't necessarily mean that Jesus as Savior is being preached. People are afraid to talk about forgiveness. Does the doctrine include forgiveness of sins? I once got banned from a forum for telling the Christians there that Jesus forgave their sins at the cross. That place needed fixing.
