When one is incredibly good-looking, well.... it just comes with the territory

It depends on the nature of the stare.

One ought not notice other people's stares. :disgonbegood:

Either noone ever stares or I don't notice. I don't even notice collegues who walk 2 meter aside from me and greet me. They have to jump in front of me and wave or yell. But I don't have to wear glasses. I think I stare at people to see if I know em or if they're someone else. Sometimes I notice they respond strange.

I guess it depends on what kind of relationship I have with the person. If it is someone I know has worked hard that day I would assume they are just tired. If it is someone I work with I might ask them what they are thinking about or what is the matter.

I hate being stared at!! I normally look away and pretend not to notice. If it's a guy trying to get my attention, I'm stone cold.

Lol that reminds me. I hate it when people go stand somewhere and make a trap to try to sell you something. You have to pass them. There's no way out. So one day, years ago, a saw such an annoying group standing before the stairs at the train station and there's only one to go upstairs. Annoying people!! I looked straight forward, don't make any eye contact and they'll leave me alone.
Renske!! Renske!!

I'm like hyper vigilant in public and wish I could just shut it off at will. To the extent that if someone is even behind me I feel them watching :|

What I do is make a quick eye contact with them and break away which usually gets their attention because most the time people don't consciously realize they are doing it.

I had it once, years ago. Everybody staring at me. People turning their heads to stare at me.
Turned out I forgot to wash my face. A friend drew an enormous moustache on it LOL. A drunk guy later told me.

As ImaginaryDay2 said, it depends on the nature of the stare.

I used to work with someone and it was fairly obvious she liked me. She would stare, and let me catch her doing it. So my response is to smile, because it's nice to get that kind of attention from a young lass in my 40's, lol.

The last few times I was in a public place and a guy was staring at me it meant trouble.

Now, in my single days, I'd say that staring at me would be just fine as long as she's cute. NOW..... well...... um....... I'm happiest when it's my wife staring at me, especially if she has a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye....
