How many times you have read The Bible fully?

I haven't read The Bible fully till now. My dad has finished reading it 20+ times. He uses Daily Bread book to read Bible verses.

That is not a problem if you don't remember, atleast you have done it one time. I am hoping to do it within few years.

I did it once a couple years ago following the Reformation Reading plan in celebration of the 500th anniversary of The Reformation. I am now reading through the Bible a second time, chronologically.

A couple of times, first time around it included the apocryphal so it was rather lengthy than usual
I've read the NT many more times though, the OT I have only been skimming through because so much of it is obscure to me being a gentile

I've read it end to end multiple times. The main one that sticks in my head was when I did it as a marathon reading. It really made me remain a Lutheran seeing how scripture is intertwined.

The NEW TESTAMENT many, many times .... all but Revelation maybe 100 times... but ALL the Bible? Every WORD? Honestly, once - and even that, I have to qualify and it was only a couple of years ago when our parish had a "daily reading" program (it took a year to read the WHOLE Bible). But my qualifier is ... well.... there are sections.... those begots and those 600+ laws.... well, sometimes I kind of gleaned. That's NOT to suggest those sections aren't important or inspired but I'm just being honest.

You make a good point about the old testament books that don't offer much but data. That's where speed reading comes into play!
