iam wanting to summon all cat lovers of CH right meow! ive been a cat lover all my life. perferbaly american short hair tabbies.

rawr! cute cats ~Jo~. our first cat was way back some 35 years ago..he was chased by pack of dogs and tried to jump a rooftop and fell..broke every bone in his body, we put him down. our other cat was a stray and had a mountain of fur-which flew everywhere..as of now we dont own one because our apt imposes a $500 dollar deposit ROTFL

Oh your poor kitty that is sad, bless it, ye I can understand why you not prepared to pay $500 dollars i wouldn't either lol..
Thank you tho my kitty's are really silly at times the things they get up to, angel boy is 9 now and missy is 3 years old,she is just a daft kitty and so soft to touch...

I love cats. Currently owned by a little kitten who we think is about four months old. We don't know for sure, a friend found him abandoned in the middle of the road and we took him in. He's a boy, for now at least. In a couple of months he'll come round from the anaesthetic to find - er - some parts missing...

I have two cat, sisters from the same litter and I was there for their birth, and even had to perform CPR on one because she was not breathing right after birth. They turned 12 a few weeks ago.

I have had cats all my life except for my stint in the U.S. Navy...and I really admire all felines...they are supreme hunters.

But seriously, I normally like them. I'm not too fond of the ones I have, though. But they tolerate the toddlers, so that's okay.

My little kitten needs a lesson in who is boss every once in a while. As he grows he sometimes decides it's time to challenge for the top spot. Of course being far bigger and stronger than Momma Cat could ever be his attempts don't tend to get very far before he ends up held by the scruff of the neck until he asks to be released.

He alternates between being a mass of teeth and claws attacking one of the many dangerous things around the house (you'd be surprised what a threat scrunched up balls of paper can represent), and sleeping in a position that looks like it can't possibly be comfortable but presumably is or he wouldn't have chosen it.

your cat sounds like a ca we had some 25 years ago..a friend was moving out of state and gave us a siamese. it was very tempermental. always biting, scratching furniture. we eventually gave it up. terror on four legs

Usually he's fine, he just likes to explore and for a kitten exploring is about finding things to bite. He's come a long way since we took him in - he used to get into just about everything but now he walks past the tassels on the rug blowing in the breeze and (most of the time) leaves them alone. This afternoon I put my shoes on and he didn't make any attempt to kill the laces. The mouse-on-a-wand that squeaks doesn't get off so lightly...
