How far did you drive this past week?

Not much at all. A couple of trips to the hardware store and a 30 mile round trip to help keep a local business afloat. That was a stressful situation - to help keep the brewpub afloat I was forced to buy some of their beer. It's a dirty job....

The worst part came later. It turns out the beer will only keep so long. So on top of the indignity of having to go to the brewpub I then had to drink the beer. Sometimes life is tough....

My husband I drove 6 minutes to pick up a pizza over the weekend. That's it for the last 2 weeks. Tomorrow I go grocery shopping.

Sometimes it is necessary to just grit your teeth and do what you have to do.

The really tough part comes in a few days when the beer is gone and I have to go to get some more. Hopefully by then they'll have canned their new collaboration beer, with the proceeds going to support wait staff who have been laid off.

Didn't you read there could be a beer shortage because of the CO2? Something about ethanol production...I didn't really pay attention since I don't drink beer.

Some reports suggest that many (some even say "most") of the nation's smaller breweries could end up closing down. Thankfully my local brewpub has taken to canning their beers and seem to have enough takeout/delivery orders to keep them afloat.

Just another reason to end the madness and let people decide for themselves.

Due to the fact I’m on furlough from my job and that we are still in a fairly strict lockdown my total mileage in the last week is about 4 miles and that was just for a trip to the local supermarket. I miss driving and singing my heart out as I drive!

This last week we went to get chicken wings. That was a round trip not far under 40 miles. It's a bit of a trek to get wings, but they are good wings.
