I am confident that God's name is not spelled "holy" but sometimes I almost think that it is. Mary's words when Elizabeth greets her make me think so.

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my saviour, for He has looked with favour on His lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is His Name.
He has mercy on those who fear Him in every generation.
He has shown the strength of His arm, He has scattered the proud in their conceit.
He has cast down the mighty from their thrones and has lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.
He has come to the help of His servant Israel, for He has remembered His promise of mercy, the promise He made to our fathers, to Abraham and His children for ever.​

"I AM" in Hebrew is similar in spelling (in Hebrew letters) to 'Jehovah" (or Yahweh). People say that Jehovah is God's name. I am not so sure. Names like "Fred" and "John" are good for people but God is of an entirely different sort and calling God "Fred" or "Jehovah" as if it were just a name like our names is probably missing the point a little. So "I AM" and "Jehovah" very likely have significance that is well beyond a name in the sense of "Fred" and closer to a name as in one's reputation - the good name one has as an upright citizen of honour and worth. In which case "I am" and "Jehovah" probably point to God's name as a description of his being or an attribute of his being, so for example his name could be "He saves his people from their sins" as well as "He creates, making from nothing all that is".

I agree with you and holy is also description of his character and the essence of who God is and God doesn't need a first name.

Jehovah is also used with Gods attributes and different names that describe them such as Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah rapha, and quite a few others

Since God's name is holy does that mean it is a name that is separated from common names - names like Fred and John -
