Hoarding disorder

A hoarding disorder is where someone acquires an excessive number of items and stores them in a chaotic manner, usually resulting in unmanageable amounts of clutter. The items can be of little or no monetary value.

I have a tendency towards area of clutter. I am starting the process of making those areas less clutter. I am nowhere near anything like those you see on the tv shows.

I had a roommate in college whose mother was a hoarder. She seemed to have a thing for old newspaper. She had huge stacks of newspaper in her house and there was a small trail through the house for people to walk.
