Which Christian group is teaching that when we die we become God's angel? I was listening to the news about someone who died and his dad said that his son is God's angel now. Does that dad really believe that?

I don't know of any denomination that teaches we become angels.... a lot of people THINK that (consider that Christmas movie, A Wonderful Life) but I don't think any denomination teaches it. Scripture teaches that in one way, we become LIKE angels in that we aren't married in heaven, but it certainly doesn't say we BECOME angels. Angels are a separate creation.

I know that some psychic mediums tell people that their family members who have passed are now their angels and helping them. I think people are being deceived all the time by such charlatans.
