A New Year has begun. And with it, new opportunities.
Along with its joys & heartaches, triumphs & struggles, may we leave 2019 behind and press on in our faith to know God the Father and Jesus His Son. For as we do, I believe we will truly find hope and God’s purpose for our life.

Truthfully, if we want God to guide and lead us in the New Year, then we must be willing to follow His Son with our whole heart. Wisdom and direction come only to those who are actively, daily, seeking Him.
In whatever areas of our lives we have not surrendered control to Him, He is not in control. The promises of protection, inheritance and blessing are given only to those who are abiding in Him.

Dear friends, let us realize that we have not yet fully attained the fullness of God, or already been perfected. But let us press on, that we may lay hold of that which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of each one of us. Not counting that we have apprehended, but doing this - forgetting those things which are past, even those things of 2019, and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, pressing toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
As many of us that are mature, let us have this same mind.
