Hi Romanos. Oh...maybe an hour ago or so? I tried to post a thread and I got to a page saying that the site wasn't re-directing properly, and that stayed like that for a while (maybe 1/2 hour or so). Now I've just posted the thread I wanted, although I had to retype most of it, as only the title and first sentence remained in site cache.

DDos attacks are a crime in most countries...I would love to prosecute those who do these things.

When they take down a Christian site, it shows a lack of respect for the members here, and we have members who reach out to us for prayers. We have members who come here to fellowship with others and release some anxiety the world brings to them.

So to bring down a site that helps others shows a person whose heart is hardened and needs to repent.

I wish there was an way for the members of CH to keep in touch with each other outside of the forums for when stuff like this happens. Back when I administrated a forum, we used to keep in touch via Skype in a group chat.

As far as I understood from reading around, CH was formed when a group of people left another Christian online community. How did you guys discuss the creation of CH after you left that forum?

We used to have a Discord channel, but not enough people used it.

I emailed about 7 or so members from a list I made back in January to let them know about the attacks. I had to be careful because some members checked that they don't want to receive Admin emails.

I have several e-mail addresses, and I don't check them that often. I forgot which one I used to join each and every forum I'm a member of.

Well, check your account and make sure it's up to date and I'll include it on my next gathering of emails for this type of purpose. I do BCC so that no one can see the emails.
