Good or Bad Valentine Gifts

What can be a good Valentine gift for one person can be a bad one for another. What do you think?

I don't do Valentines but I reckon this is sage advice:

Never give flowers to an extreme feminist, even a white one signifying friendship. She will tell you flowers represent (broadly) human pro-creation and (specifically) the female productive organ. Thus it will be a sign you view her not as an independent, self reliant me too/as a good as a man in every respect human, but rather as some sort of brood mare at a base level.

I'm not a feminist, but my dad got me flowers when I got my first kid and I was so busy, I forgot em, so 2 days later he came again and the flowers were still laying outside on the bin without water. He said to my sister: Don't bother to give her flowers LOL.

Flowers are a really bad gift to someone with severe allergies. Some of them are very poisonous to household pets.

The idea that a gift is universally good isn't really very helpful.
