Why do people make this statement when there is no data to support it.

Because people use the Bible to try to justify their own ideas rather than what the Bible actually says

They base it on 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

1 Corinthians is different though because it deals with temptation and not suffering which is what the statement in the OP refers to. So it's a twist of a scripture verse and we see that happening all the time.

Can I get this in big bold letters and frame it? :disgonbegood:

Wait...Can I get THIS in big bold letters and frame it TOO?? :disgonbegood:

Actually, God already wrote it and framed it for us, in His love-letter to us, His Word, the Bible.

'And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.' -JOHN, in ~1John3:22~

'And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: To the end He may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.'
-PAUL, in ~1Thess3:12-13~

(And) '...as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.' - ~1Thess4:9~

(And) 'Let Brotherly Love Continue.' ~Hebrews13:1~

It's a twist because God does give us more than we can handle...some people even die because it's too much to handle.
