My next door neighbor usually stands on the edge of my lawn when he does his annual hedge trimming, simply because it makes it easier for him to reach parts of it. When I see him doing it I always yell at him to "get off my land", and every time he nods and waves. He's a good guy, he knows very well I don't care that he's there, because it means the hedge is nicer for me to look at. I'm sure if I really wanted him to stay off he would gladly do so, and leave my side of his hedge looking unkempt.

No. I did have a neighbor who had a salt pellet gun near his front door and if anyone walked on his lawn he would shoot them. One of the neighbors kids got hit in the leg once by him because he was cutting across his lawn.
