A Texas resident called 911 after mistaking a screaming French Bulldog for their neighbor in an apartment building. Walter the French Bulldog’s bark sounds as if he's being tortured. His owner, Amber Martin, says the 911 call happened when she left Walter alone for just a few seconds. That’s when the adorable dog’s separation anxiety kicked in.

Question: Would you call 911 if you heard this?

I love listening to French Bulldogs...for about 2 minutes. They're VERY vocal and need attention, so I don't blame anyone for calling 911. The bulldog now knows his vocalization works!

Unless you know for sure it is the dog, I think erring on the side of caution is the right thing. You don't know if it is a person being abused or not.

If a dog makes a noise that sounds like someone is being murdered I wonder why the owner thinks it's a good idea to keep it in an apartment.

I would have called even if I knew it was a dog making the noise. Very inconsiderate to have a dog that disturbs the neighbors.
