Since Independence Day is coming up, I thought I'd post this topic. We don't do anything for holidays anyways but there are places around here who shoot off fireworks. We have 3 cats & 1 dog & we make sure to be near them when the shooting starts. How does your pet react to the fireworks? What has helped them cope?

I don't currently have a pet, but when my dog was alive she was absolutely terrified of fireworks! I had to take her down to the basement every 4th of July and turn the TV on at full volume and sit and hold her for hours.

My dog does not like fireworks or thunder. She does well by sitting with us and staying by us.

My cat doesn't like loud noises much but usually if we don't show signs of being bothered neither does he.
