False Christs

Jesus warned that counterfeit Christs would arise in the last days, masquerading as the Messiah and claiming to be the savior of the world. It’s in the Bible, Matthew 24:4-5, NIV. “Jesus answered: ‘Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, “I am the Christ,” and will deceive many.’”

Don't listen to or seek after reports of christs - the miracles and great signs they perform might deceive you. It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:23-25, NKJV. "Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand."

How do we know that reports of sightings of Jesus are false? His appearing will be universally known - witnessed by the whole world. It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:27, NKJV. "For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be."

ANYTIME any claims that self saves, there is a false Christ and (IMO) likely an anti-Christ. Any who says to look to THEM (or it in the case of a denomination or cult).... or any who are looking in the mirror to their own actions or merits or achievements.... are a false Christ (and likely an anti-Christ).

There is ONE Christ, ONE all-sufficient Savior. And He is Jesus. Salvation is found in no other..... Jesus is the Savior 100% (which means no other - including me - is even 0.0000000000000000001%)

This also applies to anyone who believes "Christ Consciousness" is achieved through many religions of the world and that their are many means or ways to "Christ" but their is only one way to God's plan of salvation and that's through Christ Jesus only and forever.

We know any who ever claims to be Christ is lying because Christ wouldn't want such said due to humility; but we know not to follow such as a surety as Christ will dwell within the believer and is only percievable through such....personally.....

2 John verse 7
"For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh."

2 Peter 2:1 "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves."

1 Timothy 4:1-2 "But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, . . ..."
