False (apparently)
The reason is because cops are racists and that's why blacks get arrested more...

From 2014

I guess cameras are racists too because my nightly news shows stores getting robbed back to back..

I'm not sure it's possible to know who commits crimes in our country... I'd guess 99% of them go without any response. We DO have records about arrests and convictions..... and I think often we have a breakdown by race, gender, age, etc. And we could compare those percentages to the percentage of each group in the population. For example, a highway policeman in my State (years ago) told me that young White males are more likely to be convicted for driving over the speed limit - the percentage of young White males convicted for such is greater than their percentage of the population. Now, does that PROVE young White males speed more than say little old Black women? Probably not, but it does show the result of arrests and convictions in this regard. It could be cops have a machine that notes the age and race and gender of the drivers of cars as they speed by and don't try to catch up with old Black women, only young White guys. You get my point.

Now, I'm sure the same could be done for most KNOWN crimes and convictions. And remember: if rich, white, young guys make up 15% of the population but get 3 times more tickets for speeding than anyone else, they still would not get most of the speeding tickets, and the headline "Most Speeders are Not Young Males" would be accurate. Just misleading.

For good measure some news reports suggested that the cop who killed George Floyd (Chauvin, I think his name was) had a prior history with him based on previous work in security, and was openly hostile to him. If that proves to be true then it could be a simple case of man A has a grudge against man B and abuses his power to harm him (with or without the intention to kill him, which I guess a court will decide).

If one man dislikes another man it isn't necessarily about race. It may be the cop was a racist and disliked Floyd because he was black, it could equally be that the cop disliked Floyd for reasons unrelated to race and Floyd happened to be black.
