Do you hold that some specific view of end times and prophetic fulfilment is important to a well rounded faith in Jesus Christ or do you think that end times theology is an area filled with religious charlatans and bogus theology? I admit to leaning towards the latter.

I think there is a variety of approaches and viewpoints that well respected theologians and students of the Bible hold toward issues related to eschatology. For some reason, it seems that either people get really caught up in it and seem to be able to talk about little else or they ignore it. I'm not sure why that is.

I hold to certain beliefs concerning end times but I also agree that there are many that fall into the latter category

Jesus will come back.

That's my eschatology.

Read up on the Jehovah's Witness (Watchtower Society) founded by Charles Taze Russell. Russell prophesied the end of the world on a couple occasions. His predecessor, Judge Rutherford, did the same. This has been followed by others. I believe the last one was a claim in the 1970s. The claims of the JWs have never come true, yet there are still kingdom halls with followers. Even Prince (purple rain) was caught up in the JWs.
My one thought about the end is this: "Even so, come Lord Jesus."
