I just noticed there is no Parenting forum.
When I was growing up my mom would say stuff about me to others that I found embarrassing, no, not in an abusive way but just to get others to laugh because I guess I can admit now it was funny. I swore I would never do that to my own child. That didn't last as I realized I was exactly the same. My daughter has done some ridiculous things and I can't help but tell people. :huh:
