I finished watching Elizabeth: The Golden Years this evening and wanted to briefly rant about how horribly bad it is.
It is mainly function. Most of the characters in it are either inventions or are engaged in actions that they never performed in history. Important characters are completely absent. And the film is horribly anti-Spanish (why are they all black haired and evil looking?). It is also religiously terrible. God save us from any more films in the series!
