Read the Bible, LBGBTQ+++ practices are all listed as abominations to God.

Which is why there is such a push to normalize all of them in society and, especially, to teach them to our children in public schools. The public school curriculum can easily be seen as focused more on teaching our children all of the listed abominations and how to practice, even enjoy, them than it is focused on teaching such things as the three R's and other essential life competency skills.

One of those lies is that they are born that way. I think that they choose those lifestyles at points early in their lives when they can't now remember those decisions largely because of traumatic events.

Yeah and scripture basically says that they're all liars. They know darn well that they were not born that way. Gays are liars, transformers are liars, all of them are liars. They have a conscience. They do know better

Romans 1:20
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:.../KJV

If they become gay then are a liar about God and that's how God made them.

You see, the problem with being accepting of gbtzd people, (whatever), is two fold. that if we become accepting of them then we are coming into agreement with the evil spirit behind it. and the 2nd problem is...if we are accepting of them then even more kooks will come out screaming for acceptance!
Hey, you accept the gay guys but I like animals you discriminate of me! Hello this is the Director of Nambla and we want to know why society hasnt accepted us people who like kids?!!!

That guy, needs shot. Not by me, vengance is mine sayeth the Lord, but there is two big reasons why gays will not be accepted by me, and I wont eat with them and they can't come in my house. I have nothing with them.

Besides, if you become accepting of the gays at all, then we would have to restrain ourselves from speaking the truth to them. So it wouldnt be in love that I tell them I accept them, it would make me gay too in God's eyes. You can't know the truth and fail to speak it, that's sinful.

@Edward429461, I understand your anger at their sinful lifestyles, but I love them as God's human creations, though they are tarnished severely by their sinfulness. I have sin within me too.

Jesus commanded us,
Mat 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
Mat 5:44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
Mat 5:45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

I try to understand why people act the way they do without excusing their sinfulness. If I can establish a personal relationship based on one or two shared interests, then at some point, I will share with them why I disagree with their lifestyles and witness to them what God has done in my life without judging them. I let God do the judging.

How do you reconcile forming personal relationships with them without letting them know you disapprove of their way of life with:

Psalm 1:1: "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers."

Proverbs 4:14-15: "Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of the evil. Avoid it; do not go on it; turn away from it and pass on."

Psalm 26:4-5: "I do not sit with men of falsehood, nor do I consort with hypocrites. I hate the assembly of evildoers, and I will not sit with the wicked."

2 Corinthians 6:14 "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

2 Corinthians 6:15 "What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?"

Ephesians 5:11: "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them."

1 Corinthians 15:33: "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company ruins good morals.'"

Romans 12:2: "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

2 Timothy 1-5 "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people."

2 John 1:9-11: "Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works."

2 Corinthians 6:17 "Therefore, 'Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."

Revelation 18:4 "Then I heard another voice from heaven say: 'Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;'"

Also, after becoming friends with them and letting them think you accept their sin, do you come outright and say something to the effect of "Oh, by the way, do you know that your are living a lifestyle that will send you directly into Hell?".

I'm not angry at them. I just don't accept them in any way.

If they are seeking God and wanting to repent of the lifestyle, then I'd be happy to share the good news with them. But those guys are few and far between. Most of them want to be accepted as a "normal" part of society and keep that lifestyle. I don't like those guys. I'm not angry with them, but it isnt the same at that point.

That's where Paul's phrase in Ephesians 4, "speaking the truth in love," comes in, @Frankj. Praying to God is the key, not saying what you quoted, of course. If we are always going to be separate from every person with a sinful lifestyle, we can't really be a loving influence in their lives to point them to Jesus as the only way to the Father. He will direct such conversations in the way of his love. If even that turns them off, at least I've made the attempt. God can save such people from their sinful lifestyles, though.

Eph 4:15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,
Eph 4:16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Some examples of how Jesus practiced what you suggest? (FWIW, unless I'm just not understanding you, you seem to be advocating acceptance of an unrepentant lifestyle of sin without qualification, there is Biblical warning as well as practical sociological experience that shows you become like those you associate with such as the warning to come out of associations with the sinful before you engage in their their sins and receive their consequences.)

Acceptance by those you associate with is a natural human social desire and, as Aristotle observed, man is by nature a social animal. This leads us to become like them, as should be quite obvious in the current Church of accommodation which accepts almost everything in order to be accepted by the world instead of set apart from it as it should be.

@Frankj, talking with people with sinful lifestyles doesn't necessarily lead us to become like them. If we aren't praying and engaged with the Word of God, we had better stay away from them. Just invite them to come to our church.

Prayer must bathe each and every relationship with knowledge of God through his revelation of himself in the Scriptures. Then, we can avoid temptation to adopt their sins as our own, solely by the grace and love of God flowing to them through us.

I agree with you that we need to identify the sinfulness of other people in order to avoid it, but we also need to be grounded firmly in the Bible's teachings and show God's amazing grace to everyone, no matter who they are.

@Frankj, the gospels have many examples during which Jesus breaks down many barriers that the separatist Pharisees have put up. He eats with "tax collectors and sinners," a practice strictly forbidden by the separatists. I accept the people you talk about as people but not as practicing sinners with sinful lifestyles and certainly don't practice their sins. That's why constant prayer and vigilance are always important in such relationships. How else will we be able to be God's loving influence in their lives?

Mat 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.
Mat 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Mat 5:15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.
Mat 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Have you considered the lesson contained in the story of his hometown of Nazareth? Or when he hid himself when the people picked up stones so that he had to hide and sneak out of the Temple grounds?

Or the disciples being to told to kick the dust off of their feet as they town that won't listen to them?

There is also the admonition not to give holy things to dogs, and to never cast pearls to the swine.

To me that means to preach the word to those that will listen and avoid those that do not. Avoid those who hate you and will not listen. A sort of 'Don't waste your time' thing, concentrate on planting seeds in fertile ground and avoid the barren ground where it will just die, it is only in the fertile ground you will find a crop that grows.

How have you factored this into your thinking?

(FWIW, I'm not suggesting not to carry the word to sinners, that is what a Christian is commanded to do, just that you not become familiarized with those that persist in their sin and call right wrong and good evil or you will find yourself accepting their sin and that is participating in it.)

No, it means that the disciples were not to waste time on unbelievers who won't listen. It means to share the gospel or at least your witness with everyone but not to waste time trying to talk resistant people into the kingdom. Such efforts are attempts to control people, not being respectful of them as God's human creatures. There have been many people with whom God has enabled me to share my witnessing but who have rejected it. I just let them do with it what they want to. Of course, always take note of sin and reject it but not the sinner unless he rejects your message.

That's kind of what I said.

Be the Watchman on the tower, that is your responsibility and the extent of your power, nothing else. Consider this, there is more here than it seems on the surface of it.

When I was a preacher, Ezekiel 33 was a great comfort to me, since God says to the prophet that once he shares God's message faithfully with the people, he is then free of any more responsibility. They are responsible for what they do with it (my paraphrase).

Eze 33:9 But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.

Now, it's also true for my writing of books.

I almost always agree with what you say. And I do here too, for the most part. Did you see the scriptures he posted? That, says a lot. So perhaps we must do more than carry the word to them. Rather be the word to them so that they can not fil to see the light within you.

There is a time and place to not be willing to help someone. But since I have been trying to draw closer to the Lord I have learned that those situations are not as many as one would think. (I think!) these are the same people that would sue you for your coat. And you lose! You're not supposed to give him your coat and walk off in a huff. Rather you give him your cloak also with a smile and a kind word. Don't cover the candle with a basket iow. That feels correct to me

When the town was after Jesus, is that the one where they sought to throw him off the cliff and he hid from them. Walked through the midst of them, I think it says. So Jesus didnt get translated anywhere, they just couldn't see Him, because He "Hid" Himself! That sounds very cool and is something I wish I could do

In our American culture, @Edward429451, we have many people who appear to be Christian with Christian values but aren't committed to Jesus Christ. That's why at some point in a relationship we have to share our witness of what God has done in our lives and how he has used his gift of faith in Jesus to change us. We must distinguish ourselves from the "Christian values" many people follow.

Every bit of that is in scripture too Brother. But you know that because you said it, lol. But that's exactly what it says, we are to share our witness and our testimony.

I have a crapload of personal testimonies that I could share of the Lord blessing me and doing supernatural things for me and all sorts of stuff. But they don't have a forum for testimonies here, they don't like testimonies for some reason?

One time the Lord sent an Angel to my garage sale, and the Angel looked like a man so I didn't know it, and he brought everything I had prayed to the Lord for and more! (Nobody goes to garage sale and spends $2400.!!)

Another time, there was 3 teams of police in cars searching for me to arrest me (long story!) and it would not have been just to arrest me because I hadnt did anything wrong. And I took of walking and praying, and the Holy Spirit started talking to me inside of me! Turn right here, go left up the alley, now left again, sit here and rest, ok get up go straight then right...and it was like Holy Spirit turned up the volume inside me because I heard him good and obeyed everything! And I stayed out of jail, and I never went more than 6 blocks from my house and 3 cars couldnt find me!

And quite a few more too. The Lord is an adventure. He will put you into situations that you don't want to be in, lol. I've passed a few and failed some.

My favorite testimony is, not when God parted the red sea for me (He didn't) but a very small personal thing. I almost prayed about it but then I did not pray about it...and He did it anyway! This testimony is actually a two part testimony, there were two things the good Lord did for me. One I asked for and one I didn't!

I wonder if they would get mad if I started a Testimony Thread?

I love hearing testimonies. These are real, from regular people. Not Moses, not Paul or Peter. Just normal people like us. Me? I'm nothing special. A nobody in fact even to TV Pastors. I'm only some retired plumber/heater/a-c guy and have no ministry. So why would God do those sorts of things for me? He loves me! He loves all you Brothers & Sisters too.
