People whose homes have dog/cat doors, have wild animals ever entered your pet doors and what happened when that occurred?

Only the neighbour cats, when I was a student, living with 5 others and one took a cat, but she came from her parents' farm and wasn't sterilized yet, so at night, when I had to go to the toilet, there was some neighbourcat sitting on the stairs.

I wouldn't have animal doors in exterior doors at all, for that very reason.

Aside from the potential security risk the last thing I want to do is wake up one morning to find I have to chase a skunk out of the house or something.
