Does Satan know who is his?

Does Satan know who is his? If yes, then wouldn't that mean he knows who has faith and who doesn't? I was under the impression only God knows that since faith is a gift from God.

If a person is actually and truly born again it is impossible for them not to know it.

From what the Bible says, if I understand it correctly, they are pretty much the only ones that won't be deceived by Satan into following him and his servants with all others being deceived.

So the question then might become "How do I know I am among the elect?".

I'm a child of God. He baptized me with water and word, washed away my sins and clothed me in Christ's righteousness. This thread isn't about whether we know we are God's child, but whether Satan knows if we are or not.

IMO, if the world approves of what you are engaging yourself in, you are on the devils path, and that is an all inclusive sort of thing, being saved means leaving the world, separating ourselves from it, not becoming integrally involved in it.

A subject worthy of significant discussion, but one rarely discussed in any real depth.

Devil knows who he is, some people who have confronted him like Father Gabriele Amorth and exorcist who has encounter the devil. Other exorcist have talked and said he is belzebub and other say he lies to those who have encountered him. Believe nothing from the devil for he is king of lies. Lucifer is not Belzbub and some exorcist beside Gabriele have said they met a person possesed and other demons claim to be other demons from their testimony. Their have been that some exorcist talked to demons and some demons said they were the devil and were not.

The devil knows who he is, he is crazy but he is not stupid and knows who belongs to him and not. Remember the devil is angel of light and knows everything about the bible and he is dangerous and can do light like angels of light. And fool people thinking he is good. He is not. King of lies if he says to tohers he possesed other people or invens claims people question him for the Lord does not believe his lies and he is king of lies. Do not give him audience rebuke him at all times ;D.

I haven't used a term like 'God's child' since left New Age thought behind decades ago. I didn't even know it was a Biblically based term.

I don't think he knows our hearts, but he tests the faith of professing believers, sometimes severely with God's permission as he did with Job. The point of that book is that true faith perseveres:

Job 1:8 And the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?”
Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD and said, “Does Job fear God for no reason?
Job 1:10 Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
Job 1:11 But stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse you to your face.”

Satan is destroyed by God remember he was thrown from heaven and lost his powers but he cannot use all of his powers but his hosts can help him. The devil can fell and cannot use his powers but what his host and he gets humans hosts. They can use faith he being an evil being. and knows psycology he knows how humans work and will use faith mechanism. God will know he lies but humans cannot tell who is satan's host and the devil is cunning and knows Lamb the human psychology and woman psychology. He knows how to use them to say they are miracle makers and make them do great religious works and decieve them.

Jesus said satan was inside of Peter when he rebuked him for interfering in his plan to be crucified. But this does not mean literal demon possession of Peter. It is a reference to the evil tendency inside of the human mind that is aligned with evil schemes.

It is completely counterproductive to good mental health to ponder on subjects of an evil nature. It serves very little purpose and distracts people with bogus theologies and systems of conceptual categories that has really no bearing on life as it is lived in the real world outside. The short cut out is to pay no attention to anything evil and constantly strive to satisfy your conscience perfectly. What good will it do to speculate on whether demons know people's thought processes? None at all. To what end would it be beneficial to know such a thing and for what reason? You won't get an answer because it is endlessly circular without any solution to it. So just give it up completely.
