I was confused, because people said the Apocryphal book of Tobit endorses sorcery, because Tobias used animal organs for driving out a demon.

But Acts 13 says that a sorcerer is a son of the Devil. I can’t imagine a son of the Devil casting out a demon.

Didn’t Jesus say somewhere that Satan doesn’t cast out Satan? Something about a house divided against itself cannot stand?

I’m confused.

or the whole book could just be a myth created by pre Christian Catholics, unless it mentions something like "Seven Angels who stand before the throne of God" or the casting out of demons.. you know.. something that the NT mentions that the OT doesn't?

Yea, must have been those Catholics that lived before the time of Christ.

For this statement to make sense we must agree that Catholics are time travelers

Maybe that’s why they kept changing the calendar

The answer must be APOCRYPHA.

That is always the answer to your bait and switch, pretending to want to talk about one thing when in reality it is something else threads.

.

You copied and pasted Origen from an entirely different thread without even addressing the topic?

Where’s the bait and switch? I mentioned Tobit right from the start.

How about answering the question.

Does Satan cast out Satan?

Nathan makes it clear that this is concerning the book of Tobit, no switch/bait is evident, not sure why you would charge the op with switch/bait when that's obviously untrue.
