Do your pets like to swim?

We used to have a swimming pool and our dog LOVED to be in the water with us!

My daughter's guinea pigs did not like it when I set up a tiny box with water for them to swim in though which is weird because I thought piggies loved the water?

No. My cats are, well cats. The dog, will take baths and that is about it. When we take her to the beach and the water comes in close to her, she heads the other way. Silly dog.

Out of my 6 "zoo crew" babies, the only one that likes to go in her kiddie pool is my pot bellied pig ( Miss Piggy ). She squeals with delight as she rolls and splashes in the pool.

Our current pet is a cat so, no. A good way to get scratched is to hold him anywhere near water, static or running.

Our last pets loved to swim but they were fish so I don't suppose that's a huge surprise either.

Rabbits CAN swim but they don't like to.
