If you noticed that someone has fallen asleep during a meeting at work....do you wake him?

Edited to say this totally happened today! And no, I did not wake him.

It would depend on the person and my relationship with them. If this was a person who was a known slacker, I would likely let them get into trouble, feeling it would serve them right. However, if it was someone I know to be a hard worker and who is going through a rough time at home or outside of work, then I would wake them to help keep them out of trouble. :)

I think I agree with MarkFL.

If it's a troublemaker maybe it's time he got what's coming.

If he's a good guy then look for a way to discreetly wake him. If he's sitting next to you, maybe drop something near his feet so you can nudge him to say "sorry, I dropped my pen, can I just get it" or some such, so he gets woken and any apparent confusion has a ready made cover.

I like the dropping something to nudge him suggestion! I could totally see myself doing that.

Of course once the meeting was over the guy woke up immediately and got up and left the room LOL

Assuming this is atypical, YES - I would try to awaken him as discretely as possible. The Golden Rule.
