And if so, does this violate the separation of church and state?

Well I don't like the term creationism as most ism's are not good, so it seems.

I also believe public (government) schools should be abolished, and all government funding of schools banned.

Teaching creation in government schools only works if Christian teachers who really adhere to creation do the teaching, but government schools are a bad ides so...

There is no clause for separation of school and state. Only the clause that the federal government shall not establish a religion, but they essentially have, that of atheistic evolution by their up-until-recent-decades compulsory attendance laws.

No.

I don't want secular, government-controlled schools teaching my kids religion (I'LL do that, thank you very much).

Science classes should teach the current (fallible) views of science. And they should do so as such. Not indulge in religion (any religion); I don't want Nancy Polosi or Joe Biden teaching religion; I don't want some Buddhist science teacher (with a college degree in PE) teaching religion in a science class.

The Bible entrusts the teaching of religion to PARENTS (especially fathers !!!!!), not to secular government. IMO, we have a HUGE problem with parents forfeiting their responsibilities and handing them over to godless TV and secular government - to each them morality, values and even religion.
