According to the information on Wikipedia, Baptism is a Christian sacrament of initiation almost invariably with the use of water. It may be performed by sprinkling or pouring water on the head, or by immersing in water either partially or completely, traditionally three times, once for each person of the Trinity.

Now, looking the essence of baptism, it means that any Christian who's not baptised isn't going to have salvation because that's what being baptised makes possible for them. Does it mean that Christ dying on the cross isn't enough for someone who's not baptised to have salvation?

Baptism is necessary, but not absolutely necessary and what I mean by that is we are saved by grace through faith. If someone were to die before having the opportunity to be baptized, his salvation is still because he has faith in the Savior who died for the forgiveness of his sins.
