Do you think a God who drowns innocent babies from ppl before the flood is loving?

I said: if those sweet innocent babies were the offspring of fallen angels and women, then you'd better drown these little demons.
Where do those disembodied demons and unclean spirits who search for bodies to posess come from?
They are not fallen angels. Fallen angels from before the flood are in hell says Peter and angels dont need a body to work through.
I used to believe GAP theory and thought they were from before creation, but God created the heavens and earth in 7 days. When He laid the cornerstone of the earth the sons of God rejoiced.
I always thought satan fell ages before that.
So then those demons must be from before the flood and the reason for the flood.

I thought Satan was cast down before Adam and Eve were created? I also heard that the serpent was made on the 6th day so these theories always spin me about.
I can't discredit the belief that Lucifer was cast down first, but throw the word "GAP theory" into it and it becomes a hoax.
Satan was thrown down but the angels might have followed after word, this is just me speaking, but I do take the 24 hour day as meaning phases because the sun and man wasn't even around to measure time.
It's not very important anyway and I believe the whole theory evolved around the words "replenish" and "was" so just throwing that out there

This is where we find PROOF that full immersion is the only way to go. My church adhere's to it.
We hold ppl under and force them to either be passively saved or drown.

Well, if the angels in Heaven ( or fallen angels who lost their place in Heaven) do not need to reproduce because they wouldn't need to be replaced, who's to say that these " sons of God" weren't descendants of Adam's son, Seth and the daughters of men did not descend from Cain, the world's first fratricide and murderer? As a Lutheran of the Missouri Synod, I am bound to accept these words of Scripture as historical fact and it does underscore the reality of Original Sin and it shows where this sin would ultimately lead for humanity.

There is no such thing as an " innocent." Our fallen nature automatically makes us self- centered rather than God- centered and the fact that children aren't yet able to realize that their choices can have some very adverse consequences, one can see where sin unchecked can lead to. Tragedy.

You might find sections of the Clementine Homilies interesting. They didn't make it into the Canon but they were read by the early church:

It is clear from the homilies (various places) that Peter was not a meat eater.

They have found skeletons of giants. Goliath was a giant. We have tall ppl now but no real giants.

Anything they thought at any moment was evil. That does not sound normal and human. Even Hitler had moments when he was petting his dog.
Or Sodom, young kids wanting to rape angels. That is demonic.

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

The Clementine Homilies date from an early period of Christian history.

It was long believed that the early date of the Clementines was proved by the fact that they were twice quoted by Origen. One of these quotations occurs in the Philokalia of Sts. Gregory of Nazianzus and Basil (c. 360). Dr. Armitage Robinson showed in his edition of that work (1893) that the citation is an addition to the passage of Origen made by the compilers, or possibly by a later editor. The other citation occurs in the old Latin translation of Origen on Matthew. This translation is full of interpolations and alterations, and the passage of Pseudo-Clement is apparently an interpolation by the translator from the Arian Opus imperfectum in Matt.[4]

Omitting Origen, the earliest witness is Eusebius. In his Ecclesiastical History, III, xxxviii (AD 325) he mentions some short writings and adds:

"And now some have only the other day brought forward other wordy and lengthy compositions as being Clement's, containing dialogues of Peter and Appion, of which there is absolutely no mention in the ancients."
