With my job I am considered on call to my clients 24/7, so I never turn my phone off. They rarely call late at night though

Mine is on vibrate on the stand next to me. Rarely does anyone call me at night. The one time I needed to answer it, the caller called my husband's number as he keeps his on all the time due to the nature of his work. It was regarding a family member. Family knows that if they don't get one of us, to try the other one.

My phone automatically turns into do-not-disturb mode, so notifications will still come in but it won't make any noise or vibrate, between 11pm-7am. A very select members of my immediate family are configured to ring anyway.

Frankly I'm not interested in calls or texts when I'm sleeping but, with friends and family and clients in multiple timezones, it's convenient to be able to tell people they can call or text at any time that suits them without having to worry about times, time differences etc. If a client calls at 3am wherever I am it can wait until normal hours. If my dad collapses and is rushed to hospital then the call telling me about that can come through, even if there's nothing I can do about it right there and then.

No. I always keep my phone on during the night. I rely on my alarm to wake me for work in the early hours or for family members to contact me if there is an emergency.
