Many things in my house collect dust. I'm not sure that's what you're talking about though. Likewise I have a growing collection of bits of dead cable I've pulled out of my house during my renovation project. My collection of bits of scrap wood and offcuts only ever gets so large before it pays a visit to Mr Burn Barrel and my collection goes away, ready to start afresh with a newly emptied sack.
