1 John 2:15-17 says this
"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever."

What does it mean to you to not love the world or anything in the world? Isn't the world made by God? Didn't God call his creation good in the book of Genesis?

We should love the word first so that through Christ the world shall be loved/saved. Only through the Father can we love because love without the Father is lust and incapable of such Love and the only way to the Father is through Christ Jesus his Son and not just by ones lust/"love"
