I am not again it. However, I am against hitting kids, aside from spanking or paddling. That is abuse. However, some have been brought up to see that as acceptable. For sure, I will be praying that nobody that hits the way I was saying gets near my son, for sure.

Anyway, kids do need real consequences. Isn't that why kids aren't behaving these days? Nonetheless, though, a lot of parents are not walking in the light. How could they possibly really help their kids?

I am against corporal punishment - for personal of all ages.

I am in favor of punishment (it teaches responsibility and that there are consequences to what we say and do). But not physical. I realize there are parents who think this is justified (at least up to some age) and I'll let that be their choice (as long as it is not physical abuse) but I don't go there.

If there are no consequences when kids, then the consequences as adults from jail etc.. are a hard lesson to learn.
