how many times a day or week or even a month do you clean out cookies on PC? for me i clean them out everyday just before shutting down before bedtime. one time, i got lazy and didnt clean out cookies for 2 months and found i had 30.000 in list

i visit many hundreds of sites everday. most of the time, i clear cookies and history because it bogs down my browser.

I let my virus scanner clear out tracking cookies, I disallow third party cookies I'm not expecting and usually only allow session cookies. I only allow permanent cookies for sites where it offers me some benefit.

It's rare that my virus scanner actually clears a tracking cookie these days because I disallow them but every once in a while one of them slips by, usually because the request window popped up just as I was clicking "allow" for a different cookie. Firefox really needs to address the way it handles that.
