Anywhere from $150 to $500. I had a great guy that just retired from major work that was $500 a day...but a day could range between 4-6 hours for his work depending on the job.

I'm really not sure. I do virtually everything in my house myself, and only call in a contractor for things that are well above my pay grade. Usually that also involves parts as well as labor so I never know for sure just what their hourly rate is.

I think the guy who services my furnace charges something in the region of $60/hour, although he gives me a price for the job rather than per hour. I don't know if he also factors in a minimum fee so he's not driving all over the place for 5-minute jobs. That said, before I started learning some plumbing stuff he did a few small jobs for me and didn't charge anything for them. They were the kind of things where he could stop by, more or less at his convenience, when he was on his way from one job to another and they'd only take him a few minutes to do. I might have accidentally left a case of beer at his house that Christmas.

Ah, do you mean a General Contractor or tradesmen that do contract work? I answered in regards to a GC. Tradesmen (plumbers, electrical work, etc. ) are less, between $75-$150 usually.
