Comedy show?

Have you ever been to a live comedy show? Was it good? Who is your favorite comedian?

I went to see 2nd Street Theater group once and they were hilarious. My favorite comedian used to be Gallagher...the guy who would split the watermelon all over the crowd. I'm not sure I have a favorite anymore.

I'd been to a few comedy clubs many years ago. It was one of the "things to do" before stand-up started to really inundate the entertainment landscape. And comedians were actually pretty original. I remember Gallagher, too. HBO always ran specials of his stuff.
