:wave:What are you all doing for Christmas and are you gifting others this year? Do any of you make your gifts? If so, what do you make? I am thinking of giving Christmas candy this year and am wondering about making it.

I really really really have a sweet tooth so Christmas candy is right up my alley. Anything chocolate is a people pleaser, you know? I absolutely love chocolate fudge and one year I wrapped each individual piece in plastic and wrapped tiny ribbon around them so they resembled tiny gifts. Oh what fun that was and they looked elegant.

I enjoy making things and Pinterest has some amazing ideas. My latest obsession is wood painted crafts.

That sounds like a real nice gift, I never thought of that.

My daughter who is in college will be coming to stay with us for Christmas and I'm excited!! All of our family lives elsewhere and my husband and I went back there last year to be with them but this year we have to stay at home because of our jobs.

I plan on making lasagna for the Christmas meal! Oh yeah! :banana-dance:

I enjoy wood carving so I'll probably carve out some little crosses to put in cards. Gives me something to do whilst I am out and about.

Other than that I have no idea yet!

Peanut butter is a wonderful thing. I might create a Christmas recipe sticky thread soon. I want new recipes.

We're hoping to make it up to Seattle and visit my daughter's and sister's families.

Last year I gave my family here Lindor Truffles in the little gift bag. It was a lot easier than running around looking for things for them. I'm getting too old to fuss too much.

Sometimes I give hand made gifts, sometimes I buy something.

I don't tend to go for expensive presents and encourage other people not to buy me expensive presents (not least because they won't get an expensive present from me!)

My wife makes a mean cranberry sauce so sometimes we make extra and give that as a gift. One year we had some Muslim neighbors we really liked so we made a special batch for them that had no alcohol in it (the regular recipe calls for a small amount of port)

A while back I had a product called "nutter butter", which was basically peanut butter blended with ghost pepper powder. That was fun.
