.... Governor Newsom doesn't realize that horses also pollute; like gasoline powered, they too leave behind stuff.

Now, to ME, the interesting thing is how Newsom just states stuff - and pow, it's like law. When he took office, he swore to uphold the LAW but has pretty much ignored the law ever since, and doesn't even TRY to suggest otherwise. The LAW here is capitol punishment but he just said, "California won't do that" and pow, the law is what Newsom says. The examples of this sort of thing are countless. WHY you ask? Because California is a one-party state. And the Press is a puppet pf that party. There is no accountability, there is no opposition. He is a Democrat and all he feels is thus the POSITION. The legislature (a rubber stamp of the Democrat Party) just does what the Party says to do. The Courts (with only Democrats serving) support whatever the Democrats say. The "jerrymandering" of districts and the voting policies and the Press mean no Republican will even have a voice. So, Newsom FEELS gas powered vehicles are "bad" and thus they are, and he feels they should not be sold here anymore, and thus they should not. No need for the Legislature, no need for laws, Newsom is a liberal Democrat and his feelings are what matters. But no worry... someday, the Legistlature will rubber stamp his liberal feelings cuz that's what it does.

Now, before you say "Sucks to be in California!" realize this is a cancer spreading FAST. And our most liberal Senator ever is on the Democrat ticket as VP and she is calling it "the Harris Administration."

I wonder why states bother with having legislative chambers when one person can veto them, override them, ignore them etc. Perhaps I missed something about the founding of the country - I always thought it was about freeing the people from the tyranny of a monarchy. Now it seems what's left isn't technically a monarchy but might as well be.

But liberals are SMART and INFORMED while others stupid and ignorant... and liberals LOVE (all but non-liberals) while others hate. Did you forget that, my friend?

Liberals are followers of Plato and Socrates on this, certainly not the ignorant hogwash you suggest American was founded upon.
