Can you explain some of the doctrinal errors in the Catholic Apocrypha?

Like, does Maccabees say that money can save dead relatives from purgatory?

Does Tobit endorse the use of magical potions? So like, you’re not allowed to use ingredients from plants and animals for anything because they’re all magical potions?

Like, what are some doctrinal errors?

You just keep it up....

Okay, let's pretend those 5 books contain no heresies. That is irrelevant to the issue of whether such must therefore be between the covers of any book sold with the word "BIBLE" on the cover, irrelevant to whether such is therefore inerrant, fully canonical, divinely inspired... irrelevant as to whether it is Scripture or ever considered such. I'm guessing 99% of the books sold at your local Barns and Nobel don't contain heresy.

If you want to buy a tome with 1, 2, 3 and 4 Maccabees and also Tobit in it, YOU MAY. No one is forbidding that. Such tomes are easily available. Go ahead. No one here says you can't... or even shouldn't.
