Talking about Religion and Politics COULD bring out the worst in people. It only takes the mere mention of something that someone disagrees with to be set off (in my husband's family).

When a will in involved. I know everyone deals with grief differently but if it brings out the senseless greed in you.. wow.

I've seen that happen in families, especially when no will is involved. My sister and I talked already about what will happen when our father passes, and most of the stuff I'm letting her have first choices. She holds onto items for memories more than I do, so it means much more to her. As for the house, if she is in need of housing at that time, then I'm not going to make my sister homeless, she'll get to live there. For now, she's doing okay, so it most likely won't be an issue.

Experienced the will thing first hand. Definitely brings out the worst in people when $$ is involved. Close firsts are religion and politics. There is also those relationship issues where people cannot let go of the past.
