Bride of Christ
Body of Christ
Both because the two become one and the Bride is betrothed to the Christ?
Or does "Body" refer to the corporate body of believers which is actually the Bride?
So confusing....

Why not both? If the Lord can be both man and God in one person why not the Church too, man (woman) as the bride and gods (sharing in the divine nature) as the body.
