This Bible Study is on the book of Romans. I'll be going using a study guide as I go along. Maybe we could have one person answer one question and not have just one person answer it all so more people can be involved? :)

Questions:
Who was the writer of this book and who was the audience?

Background is always good when looking at books of the bible. For doing some research on the author of this book, what do the following verses say about him?
Acts 21:39
Acts 22:3
Acts 22:4
Philippians 3:5

The author was from which tribe?

Who else came from this tribe? Look at 1 Samuel 9:1-2

Read Acts 7:58; Acts 8:1-3; Acts 9:1-4, 8, 11, 12, 22 & 24; Acts 13:2, 7 & 9. What were the names of the author and where did these names come from?

Read Acts 13:1-12. Why was there a switch in names? Read Acts 22:21 for help on this.
