I don't like social media at all. Am on Linkedin and gab. Go on either about once or twice a year, get confused and leave. If web forums are social media, then that is my preferred. Everything on web forums is more organized and one can wade through it, whereas these other sites are like a junkyard, totally disorganized to my brain and too many things at once. I also cant stand modern web site design. I want a simple page with a list of what I can go to, not flashing images, popups, etc. But I think we have a whole generation whose brains are screwed up from suckling on smart phones surfing the web etc, and they cannot think straight. A plain straightforward web page presentation would probably bored them sick. I definitely belong to the 20th century. As my mother used to jokingly say when things got crazy, "Stop the world, I want to get off." Guess that was thinking the world was like a spinning amusement park ride or something.
