Believers are Saints

The scriptures calls believers saints in quite a few places. So why do Catholics not do the same for all believers?

Here are some verses:

Acts 9:13 But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many of this man, how much evil he did to thy saints at Jerusalem:

Philippians 4:21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren that are with me salute you.

Ephesians 4:12 for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:

Catholics do. We have all saints day. It is for all the saints who are not canonised. Canonisation is a more rigorous process because a canonised saint is an example of Christian living that the Church recommends to the faithful for imitation. You are mistaken to think that if a saint isn't canonised they are not regarded as a saint.

Thank you for the clarification! I don't believe I ever heard that explained when I attended my husband's Catholic church.
